Forthcoming Events for the Lions Remainder of 2026
The Teulada Moraira Lions are looking forward to a busy and exciting final few months
of 2026, with a number of events and activities planned to support our ongoing
charitable work in the local community.
OCTOBER/NOVEMBER
Halloween in Moraira
We will be running our usual Halloween celebrations in the Church Square, Moraira. 10
games for the children with small sweets as prizes. 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. We look
forward to seeing local residents and visitors joining in the fun , in costume with prizes,
and helping us make it another memorable community event,
Winter Fashion Show
In November, we will be holding our WinterFashion Show at Bar El Martillos restaurant
in moraira, It promises to be an enjoyable event, showcasing some of the wonderful
clothing and items available from The Den, while also helping us raise much-needed
funds for our charitable activities.
Lions Calendars
Our Lions calendars for 2027 will be on sale from November 12th in the Lions Den
charity shop Moraira . They make a great purchase for yourself or as a gift, while every
calendar sold helps support the Lions and the causes we work with throughout the year.
DECEMBER
Handwriting Competition
As we do every year, we will once again be holding our handwriting competition at the
Benitachell Primary School. The competition encourages pupils to take pride in their
handwriting, with prizes awarded to the successful entries. We are always delighted to
support local children and the school through this popular annual event.
CHRISTMAS CRACKER CAROL CONCERT.
This event is currently under review due to difficulties with the venue.
Once again the Teulada Moraira Lions are proud to announce the annual festival Carol Concert, in the church square, Moraira with traditional Carols, music and refreshments available, come along and join us to start your Christmas celebrations.
Teulada Moraira Lions CHRISTMAS MEMORY TREE
The Lions would like to introduce you to our new fundraising and community initiative – Christmas Memory Tree, where the local community are invited to make a Euro
donation in memory of someone they have loved and lost. A small star, heart, paper
label is provided where each person writes the name of a loved one (a person or a pet) ,
this decoration is then placed on the MEMORY TREE in the window of the Den charity
shop in Moraira . The aim is to create something that is meaningful and respectful.
Christmas is particularly an emotional time for many who have lost someone close to
them, the Memory Tree gives you a simple way to say “I remember you at Christmas“
