What is Tele-assistance?
Tele-assistance is a permanent care at home service, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, enabling the user to make contact with qualified Red Cross personnel in any emergency situation just by pressing a button. Thanks to this service the user may remain in the comfort of their own home remaining independent or longer and avoiding social isolation.
Many British nationals don’t realise that the Red Cross offers this service in English and that it isn’t just a case of pressing the emergency button – volunteers will also carry out regular welfare checks so the user doesn’t become isolated.
What services do we provide?
- Immediate attention over the telephone, with specialised professionals.
- In case of an emergency at home immediate attention is taken by mobilising the resources appropriate for each situation.
- Notification to family members or responsible persons regarding any emergency.
Frequent follow-up calls to ensure the subscriber feels secure. - A full and integrated social care program with regular home visits, complementary activities, reminder calls for important dates, medication monitoring…
What other services can we provide? - Mobile tele-assistance: giving you the same service outside the home.
- LOPE: Location of people with cognitive impairment.
- Increased security at home by auxiliary smoke and CO2 alarms and the detection of movements and falls.
How does it work?
The equipment is very simple to operate, a base terminal installed at home and a pendant or bracelet is carried by the person. Also, you can have it on your phone or we can give you a watch with the alarm.
Prices: From 10 to 32,50 euros per month. Free installation, free reparation and you could cancel it whenever you wish.
You simply press the button to connect the user to the central alarm center, where specialised personnel will offer an immediate solution to the problem.
