The show was without question the best Christmas show the TM Lions have ever staged.
The Lady Elizabeth school choir opened the show with a great Christmas “mash up” from Polar Express, a Jazzy Christmas medley and their own version of Jingle Bells. Young “Florrie” virtually stole the show with her 2 songs, Away in a Manger and Silent night, and she was followed by the inimitable Barry Peters whose set was superb, as was his duet with Julia.
After the break we had Leah Kankowski and her accompanist on the piano with songs from the recent film “A Star is Born” which featured Lady Gaga – simply excellent! This was followed by our own Julia Bless with a great set of Christmas melodies all in a “Musicals” style – again Fantastic! The show was rounded off by the incomparable Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir – need I say more Fan – Tas – Tic.
The audience loved it and we were full of praise for a delightful start to the Christmas season with first class sound and lighting, many stating that we had underpriced the tickets.
This show took a great deal of organizing, managing, publicizing and putting together so a huge thank you must go to all involved.
