One of Teulada-Moraira Lions’ latest donations was formally accepted by Ana Maria Zambrana, the President of the Aprosdeco Day Centre near Denia. The Centre supports local people suffering from various forms of learning disability and other conditions.
Teulada-Moraira Lions purchased a specialist blender to prepare food for some of the users who have difficulties chewing and swallowing. The blender, which cost €1500, saves time for the staff when preparing meals and also produces a better consistency to enable the users to enjoy their food more.
The Lions President Dr. Nico Dekkers said “We are happy to support this valuable work in our local community”.
All users of the Centre are encouraged to develop their skills to improve their quality of life.
