The Caritas Food Bank in Moraira is currently supporting over 350 people in this area alone – this is a large increase over what would be expected at this time of year.
The local food bank receives regular donations from the central Caritas stores, but Teulada Moraira Lions also support the excellent work of this charity. We were delighted to pass on the €250 from the recent Ladies Race Day event plus a further €500 from our funds.
There are collecting boxes in some of the local Pepe La Sal supermarket stores for items of food or toiletries to go straight to Caritas.
