Representatives from the Teulada–Moraira Lions club were very pleased to attend the Conservatori music school in Teulada on Thursday 16th May, where they met with the Mayor of Teulada-Moraira, Carlos Bañon Linares, School Director, Fani Bañuls and Conservatori staff to present a donation of musical instruments to the value of €5702.
This is a very significant donation of much needed equipment to the school and will assist the many local students who attend the school in their musical studies. Fani thanked the Lions for their support and the superb new equipment which consists of brass and percussion instruments and essential ancilliary equipment.
Local Mayor, Carlos Bañon Linares, made a very moving speech in which he thanked Lion President, Laura Hillstead, and the TM Lions for their generous donation, and for the continuing work the club do in not only helping the local communities of Teulada, Moraira and Benitachell, but throughout the Marina Alta.
