On Wednesday the 26th June, the Teulada–Moraira Lions were once again very pleased to be able to donate some essential safety and catering equipment to the Aprosdeco day centre in La Xara.
The donations consisted of vital safety barriers, thus helping to ensure the safety of staff and day care attendees at the centre, and a high spec insulated food storage trolley which allows the prepared food to be transported safely from the kitchens to the dining areas.
Staff members, Ana Zambrana, Theresa Rawlinson and Director, Ana Maria Vadillo, were on hand to show off the new equipment and thanked the TM Lions unreservedly for their generous donation of over 4900 euros worth of equipment.
The Aprosdeco centre cares for up to 100 attendees on a daily basis and is a community project the TM Lions are proud to be involved with, as it benefits many disabled adults from the whole of the Marina Alta.
