Union Gap play to full house – February 2020

There was a full house once again for the latest Lions’ concert – this time we welcomed back Ges Rogers’ Union Gap.

The evening was kicked off by a short set of Buddy Holly tracks by Gary Woodward of the band. With a mix of hits from the 50s & 60s, Gary got the audiences’ toes tapping with songs including Oh Boy !, That’ll Be The Day & Peggy Sue.

Joined on stage by the rest of the band, Union Gap entertained the audience with musical tributes to stars such as Frankie Valli, Roy Orbison & The Hollies. The 4 piece band covered hits including Young Girl, Sherry, Pretty Woman and Bend Me Shape Me.

Thanks to everyone who supported this event to raise money for those in need through the donations made by the Lions.
