Teulada-Moraira Lions donated over €3000 to Hospital La Pedrera, Denia to buy 10 new standard wheelchairs and one specially designed wheelchair for those with more serious disabilities.
La Pedrera hospital cares for a large number of patients with a range of problems and wheelchairs are continually needed to transfer the patients around the hospital buildings and grounds.
The wheelchairs were presented by the TM Lions President, Nico Dekkers, and were gratefully accepted on behalf of the hospital by Director, Dr. Jaume Morera Guitart, and Directora Enfermeria, Silvia Vilar, and their teams.
