The young guitar prodigy, Austin Slack, and his band put on a great show on Sunday the 1st of September on behalf of the Teulada–Moraira Lions. This was the 3rd and final summer concert staged on the Moraira seafront by the Lions, and it certainly ended on a high note with the band performing covers and original rock and blues numbers flawlessly, much to the relish of the assembled audience.
Lion President, Dr. Nico Dekkers, thanked the audience for their generosity, the sponsors, and the Ayuntamiento for their support in helping the Lions stage this, and indeed all our summer shows.
The TM Lions are commencing their autumn concerts in Espai La Senieta, Moraira on the 29th September starting with a fabulous tribute to “The Overtones” This polished act never fails to delight and we anticipate this show to be very popular with our regular supporters. We also have a great show planned for the 3rd November featuring JJ Jones and Stuart Muir who will be presenting their tributes to Neil Diamond and Frank Sinatra.
On the 1st of December the Lions will be staging their now famous Christmas show “What a Cracker” This will be a festive treat to start the holiday season, with lots of Christmas goodies, some fabulous acts, all topped off with a performance by the Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir.
